Beneath the rampart
Walk through the casemates and look at the thickness, passages and ventilation. On top of the rampart it becomes clear how earth and masonry together provided protection.
Cannon fire with explanation
Demonstrations and Schuttersdagen make the sound and operation tangible. Follow the safety instructions and ask which type of artillery historically stood on this spot.
Archeohotspot and boat trip
Finds and research offer a different perspective from military spectacle; a boat shows the star shape from the water. Both depend on the calendar and the weather.
