The Bolnes gets moving
The large engine runs on Sunday and on the last Saturday at 13.30. Look at the cylinders and drive beforehand, and during the start follow the sound, lubrication and movement.
Interior as a counterpoint
Household objects and furniture show everyday life on a different scale. Compare manual work in the home with mechanical power in the engine hall.
Season and accessibility
The museum is only open regularly April–September. A wheelchair lift and stairlift help along the route, but ask in advance which machine areas can be reached safely.
