Look at the workplace first
Take in the space as you enter. A former factory raises different questions from an ordinary museum gallery: what work was done here and how is it explained? Use the building as the starting point for the history told inside.
Objects alongside documents
An object shows shape and material, while a document or photograph adds other information. Look for that additional explanation for one object. This gives the company’s history more coherence than a series of names or isolated technical details.
Film as an overview
The film can help place parts of your visit in a broader context. Afterwards, look again at the object you chose earlier. Perhaps it now raises a more focused question about production, use or change within the company.

Arrive before the last admission time and allow enough time to look around. Ask in advance about borrowing a wheelchair if you need one.
