A collection by committed people
A supporters’ museum grows out of interest in the club. For any object, ask why it was kept and which match, player or period it is associated with. That way a shirt gains more meaning than just colour and logo.
Different kinds of memories
Compare a worn or displayed shirt with other material from the collection. Each object preserves a different aspect of the football experience. Ask the person in charge to explain what provenance is known, especially for pieces that represent a specific achievement.
Waarland is not the stadium
This location is on the Weelweg in Waarland. It is a different destination from the AZ-Fancentrum in the Alkmaar stadium. There is no fixed weekly schedule; make an appointment directly and wait for confirmation.
Before you go
Visits by appointment only; use the address in Waarland, not Stadionweg Alkmaar.
