A tractor gains meaning in relation to the work it was used for. So look at the tools and machines around it too. Ask how a combination worked and which tasks still had to be carried out by people.
Transport on different scales
Carriages, vintage cars and miniature tractors broaden the collection. Compare a miniature with a large vehicle when you can. The photographs then help shift your gaze back to the region and to use outside the museum.
Choosing the first Saturday
The museum names the first Saturday of the month in season as its public opening. Listings differ on the final month; check a visit in October in particular. Groups can request a different appointment and must have it confirmed.
