The display covers production processes, the Hembrug and the connection with the Stelling van Amsterdam (Defence Line of Amsterdam). See how the information relates to the buildings and space around you. That way a walk gains a historical direction.
Two small display points
The transformer houses are not an ordinary museum with a continuous series of rooms. Take time to find both parts and read the explanations. A guided tour can add further coherence, but has its own schedule.
Works and access
Because of works, the route may temporarily be harder to reach. The raised stone step also limits access with a wheelchair or rollator. Guided tours are listed for the first Sunday of the month from April to November; other guides give different days.
