A face and a story
The portraits are a way into subjects such as humanity, encounter and diversity. Give an image time before you read the explanation. Then see how the person’s story adds to or changes your first impression.
An industrial setting
The display is in the Ketelhuis (Boiler House) on the Hembrug site. The building gives the portraits a context of their own. When planning, ask which parts of the programme are accessible and whether an activity is taking place.
October calls for enquiries
A reopening from October has been announced, but different pages give different regular days and hours. A host may also be absent, or a group activity may restrict access. So have a date and time confirmed directly.
Before you go
