Living and working together
A stolp farmhouse (stolpboerderij) provides a setting in which household items and farm tools complement each other. Ask where an object was used and what task went with it. The local background makes familiar items more specific than a general collection of nostalgia.
A different subject in winter
Around the end of the year, a nativity scene exhibition is offered. Numbers and start dates differ between listings, so do not regard it as a fixed annual programme. Ask what can be seen in the current season.
Arranged individually
There is no open weekly access, not even when the farm has a special exhibition. Make an appointment by phone or e-mail and discuss the size of your group. At the same time, ask about access to the rooms if stairs are difficult for you.
