An old loom still works
The loom, more than three centuries old, is still in use. Look at the warp and weft threads and see how hands and feet control different movements at the same time.
Spinning before weaving
Spinning wheels and tools make it clear that thread first has to be prepared. Compare loose fibre, spun thread and woven surface for strength, regularity and direction.
The town farmhouse itself
Half-timbering and wall and ceiling paintings give the display a historical setting. Distinguish traces of the building from craft objects placed there later, and ask what demonstrably belongs to the house.

Admission is free. The official site gives Wednesday–Saturday 12.00–16.00; hours from other guides and variant postcodes have not been followed.
