Look at the cylinder, fuel supply, flywheel and cooling as one interconnected system. Ask which machine the engine originally drove; without an application, technology easily remains abstract.
Experience from different trades
The owner’s background in crane work, coastal shipping and maintenance can connect different applications. Where possible, have spoken explanations backed up by object labels or documentation.
No public inventory
Secondary guides mention agricultural machinery and implements, but the museum’s own website describes few specific objects. When making your appointment, ask which parts of the collection are currently accessible.
