The presentations may use line, gesture, space and material in different ways. For each work, ask what functions here as a ‘drawing’, rather than simply looking for paper.

Gardens as an outdoor collection
Outdoors, artists respond to nature and landscape. Pay attention to season, growth and decay; a garden work does not look the same every month.
Before you go
The Drawing Studio is at a different address from the centre and is not automatically open to walk-in visitors. The main location has a lift and an accessible toilet.
