A shape for water
A flat-bottomed hull has a different shape from many seagoing ships. Use that as your starting question once the museum reopens: what conditions on the waterway made this design workable? The explanatory text can draw the connection between ship and river.
Regt door Zee
The museum organisation names the zomp Regt door Zee as a central object in the collection. During the renovation, the ship has been moved into storage. A photo of the old display therefore does not tell you where you can view it now.
A skipper as a starting point
The museum also focuses on the people behind the transport. After reopening, ask how a voyage was organised and what goods a ship carried. That turns a preserved vessel into more than just a large wooden shape in a hall.

The renovation closure takes precedence over older weekly schedules. Oudheidkamer Buisjan has its own visiting arrangement.
