From an old address to new rooms
The collection has moved from the Historisch Centrum on the Hoek. Anyone who knows the museum from an earlier visit will therefore need to plan a different destination. The new building provides the setting for a newly arranged presentation.
A ship on a small scale
A ship’s model named Stad Genemuiden is among the objects that have been moved to the Oude Raadhuis. A model makes it possible to view a large vessel as a whole. Once there, ask which parts are shown exactly and which have been simplified.
First, the doors open
An official opening event does not automatically mark the start of a fixed daily schedule. After the announced date, check when individual visitors are welcome. The new entrance and accessibility will also need up-to-date information at that point.
Before you go
The museum is still closed. The announced opening is 9 October 2026; a regular weekly schedule is not yet available.
