Start with the shape
A shell can be regular and surprisingly intricate at the same time. Follow a ridge, whorl or edge with your eyes. Then compare a second specimen. What stays the same, and where does the structure change?
From find to jewellery
The shop also has jewellery featuring pearls and shell material. That lets you see the difference between a natural object and material that has been worked for a new use. The explanatory text at the exhibition helps you tell the two apart.
A seasonal destination
According to the gallery, the exhibition area is free to enter whenever the physical location is open. The webshop has different availability. Being able to order online therefore does not mean you can also go inside in person; confirming in advance is wise, especially around the turn of the season.

The last opening day in October is not consistent: both 29 and 31 October are mentioned.
