A cross-border subject
The centre focuses on the Dutch and German Vechtdal (Vecht valley). A river therefore provides a different starting point from a national border. Ask which places the display links together and what you can rediscover of them in the surrounding area.
Finds upstairs
Archaeological and medieval objects are among what is described. For each find, read where it comes from and what information about it has been preserved. A small fragment can raise a different question from a complete everyday object.
Read on or walk on
There is a reading room, a library and information on walking and cycling routes. After your museum visit, choose a subject you would like to pursue further. A group guided tour or town walk requires a separate appointment.
