More than a locomotive
The collection includes historic rail vehicles and objects such as uniforms, lanterns and suitcases. Together they make clear how many people and tasks are involved in rail traffic. Try to find an object that had a job outside the cab.
The station as a setting
A train journey already begins on the platform. Look at which items belong to the station fittings and ask how they were used. That way, waiting for departure becomes meaningful too, without your needing to recognise every type of carriage.
Plan around a running day
The timetable determines when a normal museum visit is possible. Departure times and opening times vary by station and type of day. A special trip, such as the Culi Express, may also have its own admission arrangements and not be a day on which the museum is open to all.
