The collection themes include textiles and Dikkers, among others. Perhaps you know a name from the town without knowing what lies behind it. Use the museum’s explanations to connect a company or workplace with people and buildings.
Images of change
Photos, films and multimedia help you follow changes. Choose one place and see what recurs in different images. The comparison becomes more interesting when you look at use and layout, not only at what has disappeared.
An archive for later
The museum also has a digital archive of photos, books and periodicals. This means a question from the exhibition can be followed up after your visit. Targeted research or consulting material may be subject to different arrangements from an ordinary tour of the museum.
