A design to live in
The exhibition names the Kasbah and the cube houses as parts of Blom’s oeuvre. Start with an ordinary question about living: where do residents meet, how do you reach your home and what space do you share? That makes architecture concrete.
Museum and surroundings
Its location in the Kasbah offers a chance to link the museum’s explanations to a building. Ask which walk or guided tour is possible. Visiting an exhibition does not automatically give access to homes or private spaces.
Looking without jargon
You do not need to know an architectural movement to recognise proportions, routes and open spaces. Compare what you see in the display with your own experience as a resident or walker. Then let the explanation help you understand the design choices more precisely.
Before you go
Visits by appointment only, except on separately announced open days. A past Heritage Day (Monumentendag) is not a current schedule.
