Building with different systems
Meccano, fischertechnik, K’nex and LEGO are mentioned as parts of the collection. On a later visit you can compare how the pieces are joined together. Each system offers different ways of creating a shape or movement.
A house in miniature
Dolls’ houses and miniature shops show another way of playing. Later, look at the relationship between furniture, occupants and space. A small detail can be enough to make a room or activity recognisable.
Scenes with figures
Playmobil dioramas are also part of what is described. In them, individual figures are given a place in a larger scene. Which displays will be accessible after reopening remains to be seen; older visiting hours do not apply as long as the closure is being reported.
Before you go
The museum is temporarily closed; there is no confirmed reopening date.
