The offer includes dioramas and a reconstructed bunker and camp barrack. View such reconstructions as tools for explanation, and distinguish them from original objects or documents.
What freedom means
The museum links the history of the war to freedom. That leaves room, after the individual stories, to reflect on choices and circumstances, without reducing every story to the same lesson.
A guided visit
For groups, guided tours are offered that need to be arranged well in advance. Ask which guidance suits the age, prior knowledge and subjects you want to cover with your group.
Before you go
Check temporary exhibitions separately. For a group tour, a four-week preparation period is mentioned; get in touch early for this.
