A train ride is different from looking at a static collection. Ask what explanation is given during the ride about the railway and the transport this type of train was used for.
Following a timetable
The visiting calendar mentions fixed departure times on running days. Plan your arrival with enough time to board and, if needed, buy tickets calmly; a site address alone does not yet give you access to a ride.
Extra days differ
School holidays and special days can have additional rides. Check the calendar for the exact date, rather than applying a general summer schedule to every week.
