The society's base on the Traaij stands next to the old public cemetery. View the Poortgebouw as a heritage building in its own right, and ask which of its original functions are still recognisable.
Changing village stories
Exhibitions may highlight people, streets or events. Start with one clearly dated photo or map and compare it with the surroundings outside today.
Heritage beyond the centre
The foundation also works to protect dozens of nationally listed monuments (rijksmonumenten) and more than two hundred municipally listed monuments. This work extends beyond the exhibition rooms and can become visible through talks or Monumentendag (Heritage Open Days).

Regular opening is Saturday afternoon only; visits outside that time are only possible by appointment.
