Breath, heat and turning
During a demonstration, follow how the glassblower takes material from the furnace, turns it and shapes it with tools. A small movement can visibly change the form and wall thickness.
From demonstration to collection
The workshop shows technique; the museum on the Lingedijk shows results and design history. A combined visit makes clear how the making process and the finished object complement each other.
A separate location
The Glasblazerij and the museum keep the same public hours but have different addresses and separate tickets. For navigation, Zuidwal and Hoogstraat 8–10 both appear; check the route in advance.
Before you go
Closed on Monday; groups of eight or more should book, and visitors using a mobility aid should mention this in advance because of the layout.
