Glass in the walkway
Display cases in the connecting bridges let light fall on the material from several sides. Move past one object and notice how transparency, cutting and colour change.
Design alongside use
The permanent highlights include both art glass and everyday glassware. Compare a functional form with a free-standing art object, and see which choices in rim, foot and wall thickness make the difference.
Museum and workshop
On the Lingedijk you see the collection and design history; on the Zuidwal, glass is blown. The two sites have separate tickets and addresses, but together they show both process and result.
