History on the ground floor
Rules, cards and documents show how bridge was organised and played. For one development, look for dating and provenance, so that anecdote and recorded history stay separate.
Card symbols throughout the house
Upstairs, hearts, diamonds, clubs and spades appear on crockery, glass, furniture and playing cards. Compare decoration with objects that were actually used for play.
An unusual entrance
The entrance is via the Zuster J.C. Croonhof, not, as might be expected, via the postal address on the Watertorenlaan. Visiting times other than the three afternoons are only by arrangement.
