Thick walls, small space
The interior space is compact, and the walls are about two metres thick. Look at the entrance, sightlines and protection, and consider what function the structure's form reveals.

The defence line lies outside
The Valleikanaal, the dike and the former camp site make the surroundings an additional open-air part of the story. Keep to accessible paths, and do not treat the landscape as mere backdrop without function.

Open only from 1 April to 31 October, daily 10.00–16.00; the bunker is not wheelchair accessible.
