The farmhouse as the first object
The restored seventeenth-century farmhouse shows the farming business and stands in the Natuurkwartier. Look at the timber frame (gebint), layout and farmyard before moving on to individual everyday objects.
From prehistory to town
Finds from places including the Nedereindse Plas add a much older layer. Read the find context carefully and keep archaeological dating separate from later place names.
Image bank and theme room
The society manages thousands of photographs, slides, objects and archive items. Changing exhibitions and local art always use a selection; searching online can fill in missing items.
Before you go
Different time slots are given for Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday: 13:00–16:00 and seasonal schedules from 14:00. Have both the start and end time confirmed before you set off.
