Tools and furnished rooms show how household and farm were intertwined. Choose one daily task and find all the places and objects it required.
The peat landscape outside
The Klompenpad (clog path), cycle route and whisper boat (fluisterboot) make water, soil and land division visible. Combine the information inside with one short outdoor route and notice the differences between historical use and today’s experience of nature.
Live farmyard birds
Cameras at the kestrel and barn owl give a view of the animals currently around the farmyard. Availability depends on the breeding season and the technology; it is not a guaranteed museum exhibit.
Before you go
The 2026 season runs 21 March–31 October, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday 12.30–16.30; the small attic is not wheelchair accessible.
