Alongside the attractions, take time for the vehicles. A locomotive, carriage or model calls for a different way of looking: how is it built, and what information tells you something about its use? That way the visit is not only about size and spectacle.
Different ways of discovering
Features such as De Vuurproef, Droomreizen and the Modellenmagazijn offer varied ways into the collection. Royal travel also gets attention. Choose a few features beforehand that suit your group and check the available visiting times on site.
Book your arrival
A time slot is compulsory, including with a Museumkaart (Dutch museum pass) or other admission pass. On Mondays during school holidays there are extra opportunities to visit. Bring a bank card: the museum, shop and restaurant are cashless.
