An architect’s house
The house is associated with railway architect Sybold van Ravesteyn. Undulating lines and pastel shades are among the features mentioned in descriptions of the house. That architecture remains a subject of interest, even now that its visitor function has changed.
A different use
The property remains in the collection of Hendrick de Keyser and is being given a residential or rental function. That is something different from an open museum. Old texts offering a museum visit no longer match the current situation.
Do not ring the bell for a tour
Do not treat old museum addresses or booking pages as an invitation to look inside. Any future openings would require a new, explicit announcement. If you are interested in the building, respect its current use and its surroundings.
Before you go
No museum opening since 22 December 2025; there are no regular visiting hours.
