Looking at a workshop
The reconstructed workshop provides a setting in which tools are not seen as a loose collection. Ask which tasks were carried out with an object and what knowledge they required. That way an old piece of equipment gains an understandable function.
Knowledge was preserved too
Besides the objects, there is a library of trade literature. Books can be consulted but not borrowed. If you have a specific research question, you can pass it on in advance so that it is clear whether the material you want is available.
A visit within a school
The museum is part of Nimeto on Smijerslaan. The museum and archive are accessible by appointment only. A Tuesday schedule mentioned elsewhere is therefore not a safe basis for walking in freely; first discuss the timing and purpose of your visit.
