A family home calls for a different way of looking than a gallery of individual works of art. Pay attention to how the spaces, openings and furnishings relate to one another. Use the tour to connect what you see with the ideas behind the house.
A short, focused visit
The tour of the house takes around half an hour to forty minutes. Within that time, make room not only to listen but also to look again. If you are coming for a particular detail, you can think beforehand about which question you want to answer during the visit.
On time at the Ticket Office
Report to the office next to the house before your time slot. Booking is compulsory, including with a Museumkaart (Dutch museum pass). The house closes over lunchtime and has limited accessibility; discuss any mobility questions before you book a visit.
