Work on the land
The agricultural barn holds implements, including a seed fiddle (zaaiviool). Ask how such an object was used and what action the user had to perform. The farm setting makes it interesting to look for connections between equipment, work and season.
Work in and around the house
Kitchen, preserving, washing, spinning and sewing are other parts of the display. The bakehouse with its restored oven is a point of interest in its own right. This means the museum is not only about farming but also about the daily running of a household.
Ask about museum access separately
The farm and shop have long contact hours, but the museum page gives no separate schedule. So have it confirmed when the museum is open. A guided tour that also includes the farm must be arranged in advance.
