The permanent presentation ‘Het Verhaal van Slot Zeist’ is in the basement, with access via the Orangerie. It offers a way into the castle without your having to book a guided tour of the main building straight away.
Different parts to visit
Temporary exhibitions have their own subjects and may require a separate ticket. The castle garden in turn has its own timetable. So decide in advance which parts you want to combine, rather than relying on one general opening time for the whole site.
Booking the main building
A guided tour of the castle must be booked. The exhibition can be visited without such a booking, but does not give free access to all the rooms. On public holidays, check which parts are actually open.
