What the collection comprised
The former museum centred on gyrocopters and older aircraft, among other things. Engines and vehicles were also part of the collection. That explains why the name may still appear in aviation descriptions and museum overviews.
An old address is not a destination
The collection was based at Midden-Zeeland airfield on the Calandweg. That historic address gives no access to an existing museum. A visit to the airfield is a different activity and must not be taken as access to the former collection.
Planning an aviation outing
For a museum visit, look for a venue with a current public calendar. Check name, address and visiting options together; an old photo or opening time does not tell you where an auctioned aircraft is now, or whether it remains publicly accessible anywhere.
Before you go
Permanently closed as a museum venue. Do not travel to the former address for a museum visit.
