Clothing and jewellery
Regional costume and Walcheren regional jewellery offer a way in through what people wore. Look at the workmanship and read the explanations about use and meaning. Do not draw conclusions from appearance alone; the explanations can reveal differences you would otherwise miss.
Other traces of the past
The fishing past and the Van Delen hatchment (rouwbord) add other subjects. This lets you move between daily work, clothing and remembrance. Ask on arrival which display currently has the most space and how the little house fits in.
Planning two parts
't Uusje van Eine is part of the same organisation, not a separate museum visit with a different weekly timetable. Allow time for both locations. The regular opening is seasonal; groups of ten or more can arrange an appointment all year round, except on Sundays.
Before you go
Check the season and access to the historic buildings. Arrange a group visit in advance.
