A broader regional story
Civic guard paintings, archaeology and silver broaden the visit. The orphanage, land reclamation and floods are also among the themes. Choose a few subjects that fit together, so that the sheer variety does not come at the expense of looking at a relaxed pace.

The former functions of the building are part of the museum setting. Ask which parts of that history are made visible. The museum is usually open on Mondays too, but Sunday and various public holidays are closing days. The ticket desk closes earlier than the galleries.
