Three museum galleries give an overview of the forces that shape the landscape. See how natural processes and human activity come together in the explanations. Sea aquariums offer a different way into the subject than maps or descriptions.
The garden as a continuation
In the landscape garden you will find creeks, a bee house, an insect garden and a motte castle, among other things. Outside, choose a few features that link to what you have seen indoors. The season partly determines the impression the garden makes.
Count the approach too
From the public car park at Westhove there is a walk to the museum. Take this into account for timing and accessibility. The winter schedule is more limited than the summer season; during school holidays, longer hours may apply instead.
