Reconstruction and the future
Further along the route, the focus shifts to reconstruction and flood safety. This way the visit does not stop at a single night of disaster. For younger visitors there is the Jeugdwatersnoodmuseum, with its own way into the broad subject.

The museum has lifts, adapted toilets and aids that can be borrowed. Check for any special visiting times if you need a low-sensory visit. For the route by car, follow the museum’s directions and do not drive through the narrow streets of Ouwerkerk.
