The personnel bunker is fitted out with equipment and communications apparatus. Read which functions are explained; the arrangement helps you understand different tasks in a confined space.
On to the observation bunker
The higher bunker with its armoured cupola has a different function and accessibility. The walk is part of the route; ask in advance about any stairs and differences in level, which may be decisive for your group.
Open on calendar days
Opening depends on published dates and volunteers. Separate arrangements and a preparation period apply to a guided tour outside those days.
Before you go
Check the date calendar shortly before you set off. The observation bunker is not wheelchair accessible and there is no toilet; discuss the practical route in advance if necessary.
