A building on a scale you can walk into
A reconstruction makes it possible to experience space and layout. Bear in mind, though, that it is a present-day interpretation of historical knowledge. Ask what a building or its furnishings are based on and what they are meant to explain.
Activities alongside buildings
Crafts and other activities give the site more than a backdrop function. Choose a few subjects to follow closely. A conversation with a member of staff can help you see the difference between the portrayal and what is known about the past.
The calendar sets the programme
Archeon has no fixed year-round weekly schedule. School visits, holidays and events have different arrangements. Use the public calendar for your date and check whether a special day has a different ticket or programme.
