Rooms from different periods
A raised parlour (opkamer), kitchen and other rooms each have their own furnishings. Look at the differences and read how the museum places them in time. Not all sections represent the same moment in the past.
Books and tools
The Oomskamer, with material from Jo Ooms, sets a different emphasis from the cooperage or clog-making workshop. Give those subjects their own part of the tour. The cooperage also has a more limited Tuesday season than the museum as a whole.
A short afternoon opening
The usual visiting window is on Tuesday and Saturday. The museum may close when an exhibition is being changed; 22 September 2026 is one such announced day. Groups can request an appointment if the regular afternoon does not suit.
