The limited space makes the division between the permanent and temporary exhibition clear. Check the current theme downstairs in advance, so you know what it adds to the history of the castle.
The castle in its surroundings
A guided tour to ’t Slot is mentioned during open afternoons. It can connect the indoor display with the surroundings, but only goes ahead when the organisation confirms it.
Reaching the attic
The building is small and historic. A visit to the attic therefore needs separate consideration if stairs or narrow passages are difficult; an open door does not mean that all parts are accessible.
Before you go
Regular access is only on certain Saturdays in the season. Check the calendar and discuss accessibility or a visit outside the fixed afternoon in advance.
