A scene can seem logical at first glance and then become impossible. Calmly follow a staircase, edge or pattern through the image to see where your expectation changes.

The Metamorphose mentioned calls for a different way of looking from a single central image. Pay attention to transitions and repetition, rather than only comparing the beginning and end of the scene.

Check the extra Mondays and the earlier closing of the ticket desk. Groups must get in touch in advance; the Museumkaart (Dutch museum pass) does not give free admission here.
