Searching online helps you decide which material fits your subject. A surname, place or event can be a starting point, but a description you find is not yet a full explanation of the document.
Research on site
To use the reading room, you book in advance. Note the details of the items you want to consult and check the conditions; access to an exhibition does not automatically give access to every archive document.
Visiting an exhibition
At the Prins Willem-Alexanderhof you can also visit the exhibition programme. Check its specific opening times, as public activities and the reading room need not follow the same schedule.
Before you go
Check whether you are visiting an exhibition or the reading room. For a weekend visit, ask explicitly about the exhibition; the regular research hours offer no certainty about it.
