Then move closer to a few works and read the accompanying text. In this way, images that were mainly patches of colour from a distance gain a subject of their own, and you can explore connections in the arrangement.
A visiting route of its own
The gallery has different opening times from the Mauritshuis. The entrance is by the Gevangenpoort; for a combined visit, check which entrances your ticket covers and where you start.
