Comparing different types of vehicle shifts the attention from an attractive exterior to layout and construction. Use the available explanations to understand the differences; specific models may not always be on display.
A separate collection
The historic telescopes have their own visiting arrangements: the first Friday of the month and, for other group visits, by appointment. Regular museum opening therefore does not automatically mean access to this part.
Before you go
Check the exceptions to the Monday closure. Separate arrangements and times apply to the telescopes; plan that part explicitly rather than assuming it comes with an ordinary museum ticket.
