Van Kleef takes jenever from still to glass

In the historic Hague distillery, museum, shop, guided tour and tasting come together around jenevers and liqueurs since 1842.

Distilling in stages

Look at the historic stills and ask which production stages are explained with them. Which equipment is still in use and which is kept as a historical object?

Drinks organ (drankorgel) and recipes

Bottles, herbs and dispensing systems show variety in flavour. Compare jenever with liqueur in terms of alcohol base, additions and production method before tasting.

Museum and shop rhythm

The shop is open regularly, but guided tours and tastings have their own times or require booking. Public holidays come with an extensive list of exceptions.

Before you go

Monday closed; Tuesday–Saturday 10.00–18.00 and Sunday 13.00–18.00. Check public holiday hours and book a guided tour. Tastings are only suitable for adults; for other visitors, ask about an alcohol-free programme and an accessible route.
