On a historic photo, look for the street, building and date. Compare it with a second source before identifying people or circumstances.
Exhibitions shift the focus
Temporary exhibitions may centre on ceramics, crafts or regional history. Check the calendar in advance and do not expect a subject from an older announcement.

The society collects material from Giessenburg and Schelluinen. For each object, note which place and period it belongs to.
Before you go
Open Wednesday and Saturday 13.30–17.00; closed on Sundays and public holidays. Groups can visit on other days by appointment. Check in advance which temporary exhibition is on, and ask about accessibility if stairs or narrow passages could be an issue.
