Notice the doors, vehicle bay and turnout route. The layout of the building helps you understand how speed and maintenance shaped the daily organisation.

Small exhibitions and demonstrations depend on which volunteers are present. Ask about a local incident or object for which documentation is available.

Open Saturday 13.00–17.30; other days are not listed as regular opening days. Admission is free. Before you set off, check whether the volunteers and any demonstration will be there, and ask about the accessibility of the old fire station.
